Ms. Itumeleng Mogale joined Wesizwe Platinum Limited as Senior Corporate Affairs Manager in June 2024. She brings over 22 years of professional experience, with the past 11 years dedicated to the mining industry, where she has held various roles within the Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Impact discipline.
Ms. Mogale holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Development Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Impact Assessment. She has also completed multiple training programmes in Community Relations Practice and Project Management, equipping her with a solid foundation in building meaningful partnerships between mining operations and host communities.
Throughout her career, Ms. Mogale has led the development and execution of social performance strategies, managed complex stakeholder landscapes, and championed initiatives that drive sustainable socio-economic impact.
At Wesizwe, she is responsible for overseeing Corporate Affairs, including Strategic Risk Management, Stakeholder Relations, and Investor Relations. Her role is central to ensuring the company maintains its social licence to operate, promotes transparent communication, and upholds a strong commitment to sustainable and inclusive development.
