Executive Head: Processing Plant
Mr. Liangzhong Ding is an experienced mineral processing professional with approximately 18 years of experience in processing plant operations, production management and technical optimisation.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mineral Processing Engineering from North China University of Science and Technology and is a qualified Senior Engineer in Mineral Processing Engineering.
Mr. Ding began his career at Jinchuan Group in 2008 and progressed from Mineral Processing Team Leader to Deputy Manager and later Manager of the Mineral Processing Department. His experience includes production planning, process optimisation, mineral recovery, equipment management, safety and environmental performance, cost control and the implementation of new mineral processing technologies.
During his tenure as Manager of the Mineral Processing Department, he was responsible for overall production and operational management, including concentrate grade, recovery rates, plant efficiency, energy and reagent consumption, equipment availability and continuous process improvement. His technical and operational experience supports Wesizwe’s focus on optimising processing performance and developing an efficient and sustainable processing operation at Bakubung Platinum Mine.
