Executive Director
Mr. Daqiang Pang was appointed as an Executive Director of Wesizwe Platinum Limited in 2025.
He graduated from Southwest Jiaotong University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing and completed post-graduate training in International Trade and Finance at Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2011.
Mr. Pang has spent nearly three decades with Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd., holding senior positions across the Group’s Nickel & Cobalt Research and Engineering Institute, Strategic Planning Department, Mineral Resources Department, Central Asia Company, and Resources & Capital International Department.
He currently serves as Capital Operations Manager of Jinchuan Group (Hong Kong) Resources Holdings Ltd., Chairman and General Manager of Jinchuan Group (Canada) Resources Ltd. and Mexico Taylor Ltd., and Director of Metorex Ltd.
Throughout his career, Mr. Pang has been deeply involved in global mineral-resource management, investment evaluation, and capital operations, building extensive international experience in the non-ferrous metals sector. His strong technical background and strategic insight contribute to strengthening Wesizwe’s governance and financial stewardship as the company advances the Bakubung Platinum Mine into full-scale production.
